Ferret's Fun Pack is an educational tool for children between the ages of 5 and 9. Kids gain experience using the computer , whilst having fun and learning important development skills. Farnsworth Ferret guides you through:
Math
Invaders - Addresses arithmetic skills and counting. Based on a shoot 'em up style of play, the user has to identify the answer to a series of equations as they pass down the screen. Typing in the correct answer and hitting return is the only way to blast them out of the sky.
Kid
Scramble - Test alphabet recognition and basic reading. A scrambled word appears at the top of the screen with a picture clue as to the correct word. Children drag and drop each letter in place to make the answer as quickly as possible. Ten correct words wins.
Kid
Match - Requires concentration and remembering skills. A collection of tiles are shown face down. The idea is to seek matching pairs by clicking on the tiles revealing two letters, numbers or pictures at a time. The goal of the game is to find all matching pairs and clear the screen.
Copy
Cat - Requires the ability to follow sequences and to remember light and sound patterns. The object is to remember and repeat sequences of animal pictures and associated sounds. The more you remember the faster the play.
Kid
Paint - Allows creativity and imagination with the ability to draw pictures using various tools and colours. When the child has created his or her masterpiece, the save function allows pictures to be stored.
